Alongside the shared building systems, each apartment has a smart lock, cooling, lighting, blinds, underfloor heating in the bathroom, a presence sensor and fire detection, all on the BERLIN panel. Each apartment is handed over with everything already connected, so nothing has to be added later. The presence sensor works together with the lighting and the cooling, so a room in use is lit and cooled and the apartment settles back once it is empty, while fire detection reports to the panel and to the phone.
